If nothing else,
the
city of Jacksonville is very large, and sometimes,
this can be a problem for people trying to move
to the "Bold New City of the South". Several
local organizations and entrepreneurs have teamed
up to create a series of quarterly published Relocation
Guides to help people find properties for sale,
connect with developers and home builders, and learn
about the city's diversely beautiful, historical
neighborhoods.
The premier issue of Moving on Up! is scheduled
for distribution in the Spring of '07 and will focus on
the North Jacksonville community. Other parts of the
city will be included within each new issue.
The 40-page, full-color guide will highlight new
developments coming to the area, such as corporate relocation,
new community developments
and workforce development, condos, and affordable
homes under construction. We will also include the
major city plans
that will most impact the area and the quality of
life of local residents. Subscribers will benefit
from
useful information on purchasing a home, inside tips
on obtaining government funding, and access to a
database of local vendors and useful organizations.
Moving on Up!
will be distributed throughout the
southeast region...in local chamber of commerce offices, realty
offices, hotels and other high traffic outlets.
To make sure the guide reaches as many people as
possible, it will be made available offline and
online, free of charge.
